Project Background Information.

Jochebed's Crib Children Centre was founded by a couple; Rev.Godfrey and Joyce Ng'ang'a in 2009. Initially it was an outreach program to assist needy families with food and clothing. Some of the beneficiaries are orphaned children who lived with aged grandparents or relatives.

To give this vulnerable children especially girls proper care, Pr.Godfrey and his wife Joyce opened their home for the most vulnerable. In December 2014, the first four beneficiaries moved in with them.

Currently, there are 15 beneficiaries. The children are accomodated at the Pastor's residence but there are plans to build a permanent shelter. The home entirely depends on well-wishers.
