Who would not admire looking at a smiling child?

Jochebed's Crib Children Center (J.C.C.C) is registred by the Kenyan government. It began as an outreach program in 2009. Initially it was a feeding program which catered for needy families. Currently it operates as a children center taking care of orphans and vulnerable children.

Mission

"To provide basic needs, love and care to vulnerable children, nuturing them in an environment full of God's love and grace."

History

Jochebed's Crib Children Centre was founded by a couple; Rev.Godfrey and Joyce Ng'ang'a in 2009. Initially it was an outreach program to assist needy families with food and clothing. Some of the beneficiaries are orphaned children who lived with aged grandparents or relatives.

To give this vulnerable children especially girls proper care, Pr.Godfrey and his wife Joyce opened their home for the most vulnerable. In December 2014, the first four beneficiaries moved in with them.

Currently, there are 28 beneficiaries. 17 are boarders and 11 stay with their guardians/parents and are supported by the program.

The vision is to build a home where they can accommodate a manageable number of vulnerable children.

There are staff members who work tirelessly to ensure quality service is delivered to the children. The centre entirely depends on well-wishers. The children are accommodated at the pastors residence but there are plans to build a shelter for them.
